In the Western parts of Rh'nosia, something horrible is brewing. The souls of long-dead people are roaming the land. And among them, something worse is rising.
Terrified people travel across the land to seek the abbess at Silvershade Abby. The sisters are known for their services, as they always assist at funerals, aiding the final journey of souls. They have been known to grant peace to restless souls in the past.
But this is something out of the ordinary. The abbess realizes that the sisters need to unite with the friars. So she sends an emissary to Kaebbiven Friary.
The abbot sees the danger, and he agrees that this needs a unified response. A friar is sent to seek out the cause of this plague of lost souls.
In a few weeks time, the friar, having roamed the Western coast, comes upon a hideous structure. It is a temple, but there is nothing sacred about it. Shivering with fear, though protected by powerful blessings, the friar hurries back to the Friary.
Upon arrival, the friar reports what he saw. The abbot concludes that the center of the Death Cult has finally been found. It shall be dealt with according to all available knowledge.
Such powerful necromancy as this cannot be countered by any means available in Rh'nosia. But the abbot knows what to do. He sends a friar away on a journey, to Aldharia. He is to request the use of an artifact so powerful, that it's been thought of as a mythic weapon. But it is very real. And it is needed urgently. The Blade of Aldharius.
